Question: What facilities do you provide in the ESE+GATE+PSUs classroom program?

Question: What is the difference between Super Talent & Normal batches?

Answer: There is not much difference in these two batches. Classroom faculties, study material, test series, and teaching hours will be the same for both Super Talent and Normal batches. The only difference is the composition of students: the Super Talent batch consists of good students from reputed colleges, and their basics will be stronger; hence, faculties can save time, and the time saved can be utilised for solving more quality questions, doubt resolution, etc.

Question: Will MADE EASY be providing exclusive batches for ESE Main examination?

Answer: MADE EASY certainly conducts Conventional Practice batches exclusively for ESE Main examination. These batches are scheduled after ESE Preliminary examination.

Question: Is it possible to prepare for ESE and GATE in a single batch?

Answer: The technical syllabus is almost similar for both IES, GATE & PSUs. Only the standard and pattern of exams differ. Our classroom study course will effectively cover all the requirements of these competitive examinations. Question: Who are the faculties at MADE EASY?

Question: My son is an average student and his aggregate marks are around 60% in the B. Tech exam, can he join MADE EASY? Is there any discrimination on the basis of percentage? Will he get selected in any competitive exams?

Answer: MADE EASY never discriminates based on percentage. We never give admission on a percentage basis. Here, uniform attention is given to all students, irrespective of their marks. Our classroom program includes students of all categories ranging from 50% marks to 90% marks from IITs, NITs, private engineering colleges, and working professionals from PSUs and MNCs. We believe every student can achieve success provided the student utilises quality guidance from our side and puts in effort and dedication from his/her end. Most of the PSUs have an eligibility percentage of 60%, so he can clear the competitive exams if he studies with sincerity and dedication. Nothing is impossible if hard work is done.

Question: Does MADE EASY conduct any doubt clearing classes or sessions?

Answer: Yes, a doubt-clearing session is an integral part of each MADE EASY program. Students are welcome to ask doubts in the classrooms or they can also personally meet the faculties after the class. We advise students to discuss their doubts without any hesitation. We also periodically schedule doubt-clearing classes for the classroom course students.

Question: What is the duration of Regular and Weekend classroom study course batches?

Answer: Regular/Weekend Course Duration: 8-10 months

Question: Are faculties same in regular and weekend batches?

Answer: Yes, MADE EASY has permanent faculties who take classes in all batches.

Question: Do you have any GATE or ESE Exclusive batches?

Answer:

Yes, we have two types of batches:

  • Comprehensive batches for ESE+GATE+PSUs
  • GATE Exclusive batches

Question: Do you provide hostel facility?

Answer: We don’t own hostels, but we facilitate in getting good hostels. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls within walking distance from MADE EASY Centres.

Question: What is the mode of Payment to get admission?

Answer:

  • Walk in Admission: Cash/D.D/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI
  • Postal Admission: Through D.D
  • Online Admission: Through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking

Question: Can I deposit my fees in Installment?

Answer: We prefer onetime payment but, three installment facility is also available, in that case, “installment fee” of Rs. 2,500/- will be charged and 45 days from the date of batch commencement will be provided to pay the remaining fees.

Question: I am an Ex. Student of MADE EASY and I have cleared the written exam of PSU, Can I attend Interview Guidance Program (IGP)?

Question: I have lost my MADE EASY ID Card, what is the procedure to get a new ID card?

Answer: In case a student has lost MADE EASY I-Card, he/she should personally visit the MADE EASY centre in which he/she is enrolled and produce the below-mentioned documents to get a new ID-Card:

  • FIR copy from the police station
  • MADE EASY Receipt
  • 1 Photograph
  • Photocopy of ID Proof
  • Note: A processing charge of Rs. 500/- will be charged for the issue of a new ID card.

Question: I took admission, but then I never attended a single class, I want to get my amount refunded.

Answer: Students must be serious before taking admission and must remain committed to the course preparation of the target exam. After Fee payment, withdrawal from the course is not permitted hence, no refund of fee shall be applicable under any circumstances. MADE EASY will severe suffer losses in case any balance fee instalments are not paid on due dates and will reserve all the rights to recover the same to save the irreparable losses which the organisation may suffer due to nonpayment of the balance due fee (if any). The student hereby agrees without any pressure to the above-mentioned terms & conditions of fee payment, refund & withdrawals before taking the admission.

Question: I took admission couple of months back, but I got job - Can I get my fee refunded or can I replace a friend in my seat?

Answer: No, after fee payment, withdrawal from the course is not permitted hence, no refund of the fee shall be applicable under any circumstances. The course can not be transferred to any friends/siblings in any case. So, it is advisable to be serious and committed and must read all terms and conditions before taking admission.

Question: What is the percentage criterion for ESE, GATE& PSUs exam?

Answer:

Percentage criteria for different exams are mentioned below:

  • ESE: No percentage criteria
  • GATE: No percentage criteria, however if you wish to seek admission for M.Tech then, respective institutions have their percentage criteria.
  • PSUs: Minimum 60% to 65% marks in B.E/B.Tech

    Note: A relaxation of 5%-10% to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates in the minimum percentage of marks in essential qualification will be provided by PSUs. (Refer to the official notification for more details.)

Question: If I am from South India, so will I face any language problem in classes of MADE EASY?

Answer: Our faculties teach in both Hindi & English, so you will not face any difficulties as such. Every year 6000-7000 students from South India come to our various centres for GATE/ESE coaching, until now we have not received any complaints from students regarding language barriers. More than 50% of our faculties are South Indians so, we assure you that, you will not face any kind of language issues.

Question: What is the process to take admission through online mode?

Answer: The process to take admission through online mode is as follows:

  • Visit MADE EASY’s official website: www.madeeasy.in
  • Fill out the Admission Form
  • Upload your recent passport size photo and scanned signature specimen
  • Payment can be done through a Debit/Credit Card

Question: Do you provide any Demo classes?

Answer: No, we do not provide any demo classes.

Question: Is the faculty same at all MADE EASY centres?

Answer: 70% to 80% of the faculties will remain same at all the centres of MADE EASY.

Question: Do you conduct any scholarship Test?

Answer: Yes, MADE EASY conducts the National Scholarship Test (NST) twice a year. NST-1 is scheduled in October and NST-2 in March. For more information about the National Scholarship Test (NST), kindly visit: https://nst.madeeasy.in/

Question: My percentage in the 10th and 12th classes is low; will it affect during recruitment?

Answer: No government sector asks for 10th and 12th standard marks, they will be only considering B.Tech percentage.

Question: Can I swipe the card for fee payment at the time of walk-in admission?

Answer: Yes, we do have an EDC facility, where students can swipe their cards for fee payment.

ESE Queries

Question: When ESE Exam will be conducted?

Answer: Currently, ESE examination will be conducted in two stages:
Preliminary Examination: 1st week of January.
Main Examination: Last week of June.

And selected candidates will be called for the final stage called as Personality Test.

Question: I have completed my B.Tech, in C.S Branch. Am I eligible for ESE?

Answer: Yes, you are eligible for ESE. In ESE you can select any of the 4 streams to write the exam i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Electrical. Appearing from Electronics is advisable as it is the closest branch. Similarly, Production & Industrial students can appear from Mechanical, Instrumentation students can appear from Electronics.

Question: I have completed my AMIE, so can I apply for GATE or ESE Exam?

Answer: Yes, you can apply for GATE and ESE exams.

Question: What is the eligibility criteria for ESE?

Answer:

Age criteria:

  • Minimum 21 years, as on 1st Jan of appearing year.
  • Maximum 30 years for General candidates, 33 years for OBC candidates and 35 years for SC, ST candidates.
  • Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/AMIE/M.Sc.

Question: What is the percentage criteria to appear for ESE?

Answer: There is no percentage criteria required to appear for ESE examination. A candidate who is having B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree is eligible.

Question: Are Production or Chemical Engineering candidates eligible for ESE exam?

Answer: Yes. An engineer specialized in any stream is eligible for ESE examination. Production & Industrial students can appear from Mechanical, Instrumentation students can appear from Electronics.

Question: How many attempts are available for ESE exam?

Answer: There are NO attempt limits for ESE exam. Until you are within the maximum age limit of 30 years for GEN, 33 years for OBC, 35 for SC/ST candidates, you are eligible to appear for ESE exam.

Question: I have done B.Tech in Marine Engineering, am I eligible for ESE exam?

Answer: Yes, you are eligible; you can appear from Mechanical Engineering in ESE exam.

GATE Queries

Question: Who conducts GATE Exam?

Answer: GATE is a prestigious all-India level examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty members from IISc, Bangalore and other seven IIT’s, on behalf of the National Coordination Board, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, GoI.

Question: What is the age criteria to appear for GATE Exam?

Answer: There is NO age criteria to appear for GATE exam.

Question: What is the pattern of GATE Exam?

Answer:

  • Total Questions: 65
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Marks per Question: 1 mark and 2 mark questions
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 rd of the marks allotted to that question.

Type of Questions: Includes MCQ and Numerical data type questions.

NOTE: There is no negative marking for Numerical data type questions.

Question: What are Numerical Data type questions in GATE Exam?

Answer: These are the questions which do not have multiple choice options (i.e. a, b, c, d). Instead, these are fill in the blanks questions, where real values have to be entered on the virtual keypad displayed on the monitor by using mouse.
NOTE: Physical keyboard is deactivated in the interface of GATE exam.

Question: What is the validity of the GATE score card?

Answer: The GATE score card is valid up to 3 years from the date of result.

Question: Are B.Tech Pre-final year candidates eligible for GATE?

Answer: No. Final year and passed out students are eligible, as candidates have to produce original degree completion certificates at the time of document verification.

Question: How many times we can attempt the GATE exam?

Answer: There are no attempt limits for the GATE exam.

Question: When is GATE exam conducted?

Answer: GATE exam is conducted on weekends of Jan/Feb (generally starting from January end), depending on branch the dates are allotted.

Question: What is the procedure to get admission in NIT’s?

Answer: All the NIT’s conducts admission through single platform called CCMT- Centralized Counseling for M.Tech Admissions.

Question: Can I appear for a paper that is different from my degree discipline?

Answer: Yes.

Question: What are the benefits of GATE Exam?

Answer:

The benefits of GATE exam are as follows:

  • M.Tech/M.S
  • High Paying Job in several reputed PSUs and research organizations on the basis of GATE Score, eg. IOCL, NTPC, BHEL, PGCIL, BARC, etc.
  • Teaching: Professor, Asst. Professor at IITs, NITs, reputed educational institutes etc.
  • Junior Research Fellow: ISRO, DRDO, BARC, CSIR, IITs, etc.
  • Senior Research Fellow: ISRO, DRDO, BARC, CSIR, IITs, etc.

Question: Can I carry a calculator to the GATE examination hall?

Answer: No, a physical calculator is not permitted in the exam hall. The GATE exam is a computer-based test and it consists of a virtual calculator that will appear on the screen during the examination.

PSU Queries

Question: When does PSU companies recruit?

Answer: PSUs recruit all throughout the year; there is no specific timetable for recruitment process as such. And, it depends on the requirement of PSUs, whenever they have a requirement; they come up with recruitment drive. Question: What is the recruitment procedure for PSUs?

Answer:

PSUs follow two procedures:

  • GATE exam + GD + Interview
  • Written exam + GD + Interview

Different PSUs have different weightage for the above mentioned stages.

Question: What is the exam pattern for PSUs?

Answer: The exam pattern may differ for various PSUs. Generally, the written exam consists of Technical subjects, English, and Current Affairs. Those students who qualify for the written exam will be called for Group Discussions followed by a Personal Interview.

Question: What is the syllabus for PSUs?

Answer: The syllabus is defined in the recruitment notification of the respective PSU. Generally, the technical syllabus includes all engineering subjects of a particular stream and the non-technical syllabus includes Current Affairs, English and Aptitude.

Question: Does MADE EASY provide coaching for respective PSU competitive examination?

Answer: We do not have an exclusive batch for any particular PSU. But our classroom study course thoroughly covers the syllabus of ESE, GATE & PSUs. Every year thousands of MADE EASY students get selected in Navratna & Maharatna PSUs like IOCL, NTPC, SAIL, and ONGC, etc.

Question: How many PSUs are there in total?

Answer: Presently there are more than 100 plus PSUs companies. These companies fall in different categories like Maharatna, Navratna, Miniratna Category-I, Miniratna Category-II and so on.

Question: What is the percentage criteria required to appear for PSUs exam?

Answer: The percentage criteria may differ for various PSUs. However, generally a minimum of 60% to 65% marks in B.E/B.Tech is required. As per the government rules, a relaxation of 5%-10% in the minimum percentage of marks in essential qualifications is provided to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
