Age Limit

As per the latest RRB JE Recruitment Notification 2024, the minimum prescribed age to apply for the RRB-JE exam is 18 years and the prescribed maximum age  (as on 01.01.2025) is 36 years

Age relaxation

Along with this, you need to keep in mind that the RRB has provided the required age relaxation for candidates belonging to certain categories. Age relaxation plays a significant role in determining the RRB-JE Age Limit for several candidates. Application Fee (Examination Fee)

The application fee to apply for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) is as follows: 

For all unreserved categories) - Rs. 500/- (an amount of ?400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.)

Candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBDs, Females, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) - Rs. 250/-. This fee of 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT.

Note: Only candidates who attend 1st stage CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.

Candidates can pay online fee with debit cards/credit cards, internet banking, and UPI. Candidates can use any one of the payment modes to pay the application fees.
